How Triple J came to be.

Wes’ fascination with aviation started from as young as he can remember and being a missionary kid in the jungle of Papua New Guinea, his experiences flying with bush pilots only increased his love for flight.
As soon as he was able, he obtained his Private Pilot’s License and then his AME License, including his M1 and M2 ratings. Wes began rebuilding his own airplanes from the time he first dipped his toe in the maintenance world.

His wife would oftentimes find wings or a fuselage in the dining room being recovered but she soon became quite handy in aircraft recovering herself.  Each new build brought with it new knowledge and experience. In 2015, he received his Commercial Pilot’s License, shortly after the birth of his third son. With his increasing knowledge of small aircraft rebuilds and a spacious acreage to work off of, Wes launched his own restoration company out of Cremona, Alberta in 2020, naming it Triple J Air Services after his three sons—Joel, Jacob and Judah.
